After a very, very long chat with my mum about our feelings, our hopes and all the like (including me ranting at her for more than an hour straight)…we came to an agreement.
I get my funding back for the university.
I just hope it says.

This is the first time I’ve ever stood up against my mum. First time I’ve ever told her straight in her face all of the times that she has messed up and the promises that she’s broken and the claims to always be there for me.
And it felt fucking relieving.
I’m sorry, I normally don’t post these things but this was both the happiest and saddest day of my life.

The crappiest feeling you get when your own mother doesn’t even congratulate you for getting offers from most of your colleges (potentially all). She promised to support me in England but instead she wants me to drop everything and go into college in Florida the next semester so I could live with her.
Thanks mum. Really.
